Sailormoon:
Fourteen year-old Usagi lives in the city. She attends junior high, has a family and friends, hangs out at the arcade, listens to music, reads comic books, as well as other things. She likes to eat, hates homework, and is very clumsy. An average teenage girl...or is she?

Her life changed after rescuing a small black cat. Luna, the cat, was a survivor of the Moon Kingdom sent to earth as a messenger. Her mission was to call upon the Sailor Senshi if evil was to threaten peace on earth. Usagi found the story difficult to comprhend, but after changing into Sailor Moon for the first time, was convinced that she was part of the mission to find the Moon Princess.

Meanwhile, the Dark Kingdom was still thriving. As powerful as ever, Queen Beryl had sworn that she would conquer the universe. One thousand years after the destruction of the Moon Kingdom, she had her chance once again. However Beryl had to overcome an obstacle: The Dark Kingdom lacked sufficient power to invade the universe. Queen Beryl's first task was to gather enough energy to free the evil. She sent out her finest warriors, Jedite, Neflite, Zoycite, and Malachite, to accomplish this mission.

Unfortunately for the Dark Kingdom, Sailormoon was in their way. And with her were four other sailor senshi: Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus with her guardian cat Artemis.

There was another warrior who fought alongside them. He was the mysterious man known as Tuxedo Kamen. He flew in and out, like the wind, always being there to help Sailor Moon. Armed with a bouquet of enchanted red roses, he fought off the Negaverse alongside the Sailor Senshi.

Together, they defeated worriers. The Sailor Senshi succeeded in that part of their misson, but there was still the growing power of the Dark Kingdom to confront and the question of who the Moon Princess was. The key to discovering the answer lay in the Seven Rainbow Crystals. Once the crystals were combined, they formed the ginzuishou, the silver crystal, revealing the history of the Moon kingdom.

With the power of the silver crystal, Sailor Moon sealed the evil of the Dark Kingdom for the last time. Upon victory, the Sailor Senshi were wiped of all memory and returned to their normal lives. Once again, there was peace on earth.

Sailormoon R:
This series is two-fold. The first created a bridge between the first and second series, while the the second fold developed into a battle to save the future.

Usagi and the Inner Senshi regain there memories after Luna revives them when a new enemy force shows up. They had a new mission: to protect the city from all harm that may come to it. The enemies were Ail and Ann, two aliens who were taking energy from the people of Earth to feed the Makaiju. Ail and Ann pose as two students, Ginga Seijuurou and Ginga Natsumi, brother and sister.

The battle would pose more difficult than expected with the absence of the Silver Crystal and the emotional torment of a lost love. Tuxedo Kamen did not regain his memories at the time the inner senshi were revived. His valuable help was lost, however his destiny and unconscious knowledge created a second masked figure with the tradmark white rose, to help the sailor senshi.

Serena thought that Alan and Ann were just two normal teenagers. Luna, Artemis, and the other Scouts thought otherwise. They had a feeling that Alan and Ann weren't everything they said they were. In the end, they were right. Alan and Ann Granger were the two alien beings that had crash-landed in the city some time ago. They used their Cardians to feed their Doom Tree, and didn't attract any attention from anyone.

One day, as an act of goodwill, Serena and Darien visited Alan and Ann at their apartment, thinking that the two "siblings" were sick. Ann used this opprotunity to eliminate Serena from her life. She trapped Serena with the Doom Tree. The Tree's reaction was something that Ann didn't expect. The Tree became angry, and grew to immense proportions. The Doom Tree's mass covered the entire apartment complex. Filled with anger, the Tree also took Darien, Alan, and Ann captive.

The other Sailor Scouts came to the rescue. The four of them proved to be no match for Alan and Ann though. The two aliens easily defeated the Sailor Scouts. Meanwhile, Darien lay on the ground, battered and bruised by the Doom Tree. Serena was in big trouble, because Ann was ready to destroy her! Serena transformed into Sailor Moon, right in front of their eyes! Alan and Ann were surprised to see this, and it made Ann even angrier. Relentlessly, Ann attacked Sailor Moon, trying to tear her away from Darien. Seeing this, Darien came to her aid, taking the attacks that were meant for Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon tried to protect Darien from Ann's wrath, but he was too weak to go on. The Moonlight Knight came to help out, but even he wasn't strong enough to defeat Ann.

Finally, the Doom Tree took things into its own hands. To everyone's surprise, it eliminated Ann. It was about to destroy Alan as well, but Sailor Moon pleaded for all of the violence to end. The Doom Tree relented, and spared Alan's life. Then, it told its own story.

On the Tree's planet of origin, there was once only the Tree and the Ocean. The Tree was lonely for many eons, with nobody to talk to. It decided to give life to a new race of creatures. Many creatures were born from the tree, which pleased the Tree, which at that time was called the Tree of Life. But the peace and harmony didn't last forever. Queen Beryl had long ago turned many of the children of the Tree to the evil side, destroying all of the tranquility that once was. The Tree's children fought each other, trying to keep the Tree's power for themselves. Eventually, the planet became unsuitable to sustain the Tree, and it was forced to leave the war-destroyed planet. Without enough energy, many of the children died, save two. Those two were Alan and Ann. These two children were raised in a world of hate, knowing only the evils that they had witnessed. Eventually, they made their way to Earth, in search of energy to sustain what was no longer the Tree of Life, but what had become the Doom Tree.

Sailormoon S:
Sailormoon S is the best series. In it, the new enemy and the new Sailor Senshi search for the three Talismans, which, when brought together, calls forth the Holy Grail, which gives the holder, the Messiah, the power to save or destroy the world.

The new Sailor Senshi are Tenoh Haruka, Sailoruranus, and Kaioh Michiru, Sailorneptune. They're lovers and high school students, and they are friends with the Inner Senshi up until they discover each other's identities. [The Inners have a sort of hero worship for the older girls.] Haruka and Michiru are extremely dedicated to their mission, willing to sacrifice each other to find the Talismans.

The enemies are the Death Busters, the coolest ones. They are led by Tomoe and Kaolinite; they're basically crazy scientists bent on finding the Talismans, which are sealed in pure heart crystals that some people possess. They use daimon eggs to create daimons to attack people and take the heart crystals.

The blood gets pretty complex, as Rei receives visions of the Silence, which will happen if the Talismans are in the hands of the Death Busters, and which Haruka and Michiru want to prevent. It is discovered in episode 110 that Haruka and Michiru actually have the Talismans inside of them, and in episode 111 that Meioh Setsuna, Sailorpluto, has the third one. The Holy Grail is formed, which Sailormoon uses to become SuperSailormoon.

Tomoe Hotaru arrives in episode 111, and she becomes friends with Chibi-usa. Hotaru is the daughter of Tomoe, and she is cultivated to have an entity, Mistress 9, live inside of her. Hotaru, upon swallowing Chibi-usa's heart crystal, becomes Mistress 9, a Death Buster. However, Hotaru eventually defeats Mistress 9, becoming Sailorsaturn, the final Outer Senshi. In the end, Saturn and Sailormoon defeat Master Pharoah 90 [never really shown on screen], the main villain, and bring peace to the world again. During all of this, Sailormoon's Holy Grail is destroyed, Hotaru becomes a baby and is returned to Tomoe, who is good again, and the Outer Senshi all leave.

Sailormoon Super S:
Pegasus comes to Chibi-usa, asking him to help her. He is wanted by the new enemies, the Dead Moon Circus. Pegasus has the Golden Crystal in his horn, which the Dead Moon Circus, composed of Zirconia, the Amazon(ian) Trio, Amazoness Quartet, and Neherenia, want. The first villains to appear are Zirconia and the Trio.

Pegasus gives Chibi-usa and Usagi new brooches to transform directly into their super forms, as well as powers that they can apparently only use when they call Pegasus. Pegasus also eventually gives the Inner Senshi the abilities to transform into their super forms as well. The Inners don't get their new attacks until after the Amazoness Quartet shows up, however.

Pegasus is hiding in the Dream Mirror of a host, and in order to find him and take his crystal, the Trio is ordered to search the dream mirrors of the people of Tokyo. They do so, failing each time, except that Fisheye finally discovers that Chibi-usa is Pegasus's host. However, do to talking to Mamoru and Usagi, he realizes that he has no dream mirror, and it's eventually revealed by Zirconia that the Trio isn't human. The Trio are ordered to attack Usagi (who Zirconia thinks is the host), but while doing so, a lemure is sent to kill them. The Trio helps Usagi after her Dream Mirror is broken, giving up their lives to do so.

The Amazoness Quartet appears after that with the same mission, only this time targeting the Golden Mirror, which is a bit more specific and indicates that Pegasus is hiding in it. After more searching and failing to find it, the Inner Senshi and Quartet confront each other after the Quartet decides to do mass Dream Mirror gathering. The Senshi then invade the Dead Moon Circus, and Chibimoon is kidnapped and Pegasus finally captured, his Golden Crystal taken. The senshi then have it out with Neherenia, lalala happens, Moon and Chibimoon gain possession of the crystal thanks to the Quartet, and more stuff happens, so eventually Neherenia seals herself up into a mirror in order to remain beautiful and leaves.

The season ends with Pegasus, who the senshi discover is really Elios, guardian of Elysion and Endymion, leaving, and the Quartet becoming normal girls.

Sailormoon Sailor Stars:
The first arc is really good. In it, Neherenia returns, under the control of Galaxia, which you don't know until much later on. Neherenia seeks revenge on Usagi and the Sailor Senshi. The Outer Senshi return, and all of them receive their power-ups from Hotaru, who grows up rapidly. Mamoru becomes brainwashed and kidnapped by Neherenia. Sailormoon gets her new form, Eternal Sailormoon, and she goes after Mamoru. The Sailor Senshi follow, but they become kidnapped by Neherenia in mirrors; Eternal Sailormoon saves them. It turns out that Neherenia really wanted a friend and was lonely, so she gained beauty from a mirror, but once she discovered that she couldn't remain beautiful, she turned evil. She returns home, where she wakes up as a small child having a nightmare.

The second arc introduces Galaxia and the Animamates, who are after the star seeds of the Sailor Senshi. The Animamates target people who they think will have the light of the star seeds, but they always fail. All of them discover the identities of the senshi, but all of them die before they can actually reveal this information to Galaxia.

The Three Lights, an idol rock band, appear in Tokyo; they are really the Starlights, the new Sailor Senshi. The Three Lights are male, but transform into females, are their normal forms. They goal to find their Princess, whom they do find much later.

Mamoru leaves to Harvard for a year or so in a plane, but it turns out that while in flight, Galaxia came and took his star seed. In the meantime in Tokyo, Chibi-usa has gone home to the future, and in her stead, Chibichibi arrives, posing as Usagi's little sister after brainwashing Usagi's mom. She has the chalice, which she uses to help Princess Kakyuu come to Earth. She also gives Eternal Sailormoon her new power-up and is revealed to be a senshi.

Eventually, the Sailor Senshi must confront Galaxia after Princess Kakyuu, who arrives to save Usagi and ChibiChibi from Tin Nyanko, has her star seed stolen and dies. The Inner Senshi are killed, their star seeds taken. Neptune and Uranus turn evil, in an attempt to try to trick Galaxia, and they kill Pluto and Saturn. As they turn on Galaxia, she kills them. Sailormoon, Chibichibi, and the Starlights are left, and actually the Starlights do pretty little in the battle except to protect Sailormoon.

Galaxia and Sailormoon in episode 200 go one-on-one, and Chibichibi reveals herself to be the hope of Galaxia's star seed. She transforms into a sword for Sailormoon/Princess Serenity to destroy Galaxia, but Sailormoon refuses to use it. Sailormoon finally wins the battle by using the goodness left
