Chibi Usagi is an adorable child. She is the future daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion. Though Usagi and Mamoru do not know Chibi Usagi's background, they are drawn to her with an inner parental attraction.
Chibi Usagi first appears in Sailormoon R. She had travelled from the future to find Sailormoon, in an attempt to save her mother who was sealed in crystal by the Black Moon family.
The task seemed more difficult than expected as Sailor Moon's identity was unknown to Chibi Usagi. However, she later discovers the true identity of the Sailor Senshi and takes them into the future, where they battle the Black Moon Family and save the future from destruction.
Chibi-usa later returns in Sailormoon S as Chibi Moon, Sailor Senshi in training. She had matured somewhat, but still insists on acting the child.
